Disposition Reflection

Looking back over this semester it's interesting to see how much I've grown. When I first started students teaching I was so nervous and unsure of how to go about planning so many different lessons and planning units and assessments. Now I feel very comfortable planning and preparing for multiple lessons a day and have a good understanding of how to plan units. The two dispositions that I feel most comfortable with are having a desire to improve own performance and commitment to profession. My goal is to be the best educator I can for my students and as such I am constantly trying to improve and I am open and honest with my students about being a life long learner and demonstrating what that looks like.

The disposition that I would like to work on is cultural responsiveness. This is a disposition that I believe there is always room for improvement.  This goes along with my goal to be the very best educator I can for each and every student as it is important to always plan, assess, and implement instruction to address,
engage, and nurture the learning of every student.
