Flipgrid

Flipgrid is a tool that allows you to pose questions to your students and have them response in a short video format. You can create a grid form each class and customize it with a photo. You can also add another teacher if you are co-teaching. You can add a topic tip and can change how you give feedback and give a grade right away on the app using your rubric. I would use this in my classroom in place of short writing assignments. I think this would be a great way to mix it up and allow students to show their understanding of a topic or idea in a new format. This is a great way to keep seeing your students faces during times of remote learning. While I would use this for the same reason as in a face to face class, I would also use it as way to check in with my students and ask them to simply make a quick video about how they are doing and feeling that day. IT would also be a great way to quickly show the work they are working on since it would an art class. They could video their work while talking us through it.
